September Khu (b 1987, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is currently based in her hometown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After a rediscovery phase in 2015, September found her way back to art and saw the possibility to pursue the creative path when she received her first paid project despite being self-taught. Gradually, she expanded her network in the local art scene and soon found her passion in abstraction.
She was fortunate to land on some unique opportunities at the early stage of her career including working with Urbanscape music festival, Redbull, Heineken and Strongbow. Her most recent participation SH/FT KL exhibition by Cendana Malaysia 2019 and Dreams exhibition by Inner Joy Art 2020.
September finds her inspiration in nature and the mystery of the invisible forces. Her personal quest is to understand the ‘abstract reality’ – in terms of the unseen and its mysterious existence, like sleep dreams and telepathy, energy and metaphysics.
